No, you would not be helping someone by trying to change them. Maybe they don’t think they have bad habits. Maybe they like who they are. Leave them alone. If you want to talk to them about what you think is their bad habit, then go ahead and talk. But never, ever try to use your psychic abilities against their will. That is like a psychic attack.

Yes, it would alter their personality if you were able to change their beliefs. And yes they would become someone else. When I changed my beliefs, I became someone entirely different. I went from being a scared-of-everything introvert to being a confident extrovert. That was good for me. I chose to do that.
