One of the solutions that you usually hear when psychic self defense is mentioned, is to “visualize yourself inside a bubble”.  That type of psychic shield will actually provide some protection as long as there are not any holes in the bubble and you don’t let the bubble get too big. 

It is hard to control a large psychic shield when you are concentrating on not letting a psychic attacker get his psychic weapon through.  The bigger the shield the more effort it will take to protect that shield from penetration. 

I had a hard time using this type of psychic shield.  My instructor in one of my early classes suggested that for psychic protection, everyone in the class could visualize themselves inside a psychic bubble. 

So here was the problem with me specifically.  My mind was too technical.  I could not figure out how to walk around if I was inside a bubble. 

Years later I was walking through my living room when I caught a glimse of the Ellen Degeneres show.  She was doing a special show at the beach or something.  There was this one part of the show where she got inside a huge transparent ball that was floating in the water.  She tried to get the ball to go forward by walking in it or running in it.  Ellen put in a lot of effort and a lot of energy trying to balance to get that ball to move. 

That was my problem, too, movement. 

Actually, a transparent ball with you inside gives you a good idea of what a psychic shield looks like.  That transparent ball protected Ellen from the water and your transparent ball of energy around you can protect you from a psychic energy attack. 

Back to my psychic class.  I was ordered by my instructor to make a psychic ball shield but when I tried it, I kept tripping over the ball or sticking my hand outside of it.  I was thinking too much about how I was going to work the ball. 

Luckily my instructor gave us a choice of shields, so I chose a spaceman psychic shield instead of a ball.  In the spaceman shield I could visualize walking around in it.  It was smaller, easier to control and fit the contour of my body.  The small size, made it easy for me to be able to scan the psychic shield and make sure there were no holes if I was under attack. 

Well… actually I did not scan the psychic shield, my sense of touch was developed enough so that I could just automatically feel if there was a weakness in the shield. 

Instead of looking for holes or weakenesses, I would just be aware of the whole shield at all times.  And if there was an incoming attack I would feel it coming and know where to reinforce my shield.  Of course, it takes awhile to develop that level of psychic sensitivity.
