What Is Your Definition of a Psychic?

Sandra ColleRain | Psychic Anatomy | Monday, April 7th, 2008

My definition of a psychic is someone who has developed their senses to a very high level. A psychic is a person who can “see” things that others can’t see because they have increased their range of vision. With the increased wave length they are able to see things and sometimes are even able to see though things.

A psychic is a person who can “hear” things that other people can’t hear because they have stretched their range of hearing.  Their expanded hearing allows them to be able to hear move subtle energy like mental thoughts being broadcast in their direction.  Think of a psychic as a radio.  They can receive or broadcast on various frequencies.

A psychic can “feel” things because their sense of touch is so sensitive.  When I was teaching a class and my students were outside, I knew what they were doing because I could “feel” them.  I could feel the interaction of the group, I could feel the stress points.  And now I don’t care where my students are in the world, if I wanted to I could still feel them.

I was amazed one day when I was driving passed a huge skyscraper and when I looked up at it, I knew I could feel the weakest screw in that building.  That is what I call “super feeling”.

Put all these senses together and realize that TIME and SPACE do not matter to someone who has developed psychic abilities.  Thist should give you some ideas about what a psychic can do with some practice.

I actually teach e-courses on how to develop psychic abilities.

  • I have a friend who says he’s psychic. If you pick a number 1-10, he knows what number you’re thinking of. If he counts backwards from 5, someone will walk through the door. Is that psychic abilities, or is it something else?

  • Hey Lola,

It is possible that he could figure out a number you are thinking, I have had a similar experience. Can he do this every single time you test him? Can he do this with other people or just with you? Are you and he really tuned into each other so he could read your mind? Since I have been able to feel what a person is thinking from across the ocean, then picking a number for 1 to 10 is certainly possible. Not too likely but possible. He would have to be a very good psychic to be accurate every time.

Part 2 of your question bothers me. I could understand how he might sense when someone was about to walk through a door. Psychics can “feel” when someone’s energy is nearby, but for someone to actually walk through the door, that is much harder to do. This is either a trick he has set up for you, or he starts the count when he feels someone about to enter the room.

Let’s talk for a moment about what he would have to be capable of in order for every time he starts to count down to 5, someone walks through the door. He would have to be in control of another human being and manipulating them to get them to walk through the door on command. I don’t think he can do this.

I think he is tricking you or like I said, he can “feel” when someone is near and about to walk through the door, then he starts his countdown.

I can’t give you an accurate answer, because I don’t know all the details of whether he can do this every time, or just sporatically, or when HE wants to show you or…. lots of other pieces of information about the situation.

If I was in the room with him, I would know. I could even block him from being capable of doing anything. I could do this long distance, too. But I have chosen to be an instructor and I don’t interact with the readers of this site. I am here to teach you, not to participate and judge people or to make predictions.

Good luck, and I suggest you be a little suspicious of your friend.
