Do Artists Use Their Psychic Abilities?
Yes, I think most artists do use their psychic abilities. I can speak from personal experience, because I am a landscape painter. I had years of psychic training before I went back to the university to major in art. So you might say that my psychic senses were fully activated before I started painting. I was very sensitive to color in my paintings.
After I had painted for awhile, I would back up across the room, and sense what the colors felt like on my canvas. Did they fit together properly? If I felt any stress, I would change the colors even if it meant many hours of repainting. My psychic abilities were working even before I started a painting. When I went to different countries like Ireland, there would be a feel of the place. I would never paint Ireland, like I would the paintings I did for Galveston, Texas. The energies were very different.
Each place had its own “feel” and the colors to capture that feeling where there waiting to be captured on canvas. I had used shades of maroon and a bluish green to capture the feel of Maine. Maybe it was the foggy days that showed me those colors. I was very surprised when years later I was reading a mystery book and the author described the colors of Maine as being green and maroon. I suppose the author and I had both really felt the energies that were there. The day that I finished that painting of Maine, I was so high (sensitive to the colors) that I could hardly contain what I felt. I had to go for a walk and for 3 days everything I saw in nature was transposed into those colors. My mind superimposed my newly found green/maroon color combination and splashed it across the whole world. You could say that my sense of color was extreme as everywhere I looked the whole world was bathed in green and maroon. Then after 3 days it all faded but the memories.
I don’t really know why, but special psychic abilities seem to last for 3 days and then life returns to normal. But what a ride it is, and what excitement every time my psychic senses are fully turned on. It’s like being in a different world. It’s like walking on air and feeling so happy and so excited.
And then it disappears and the world is a little more mellow and no longer filled with wonder.
